CareBond handles your personal data carefully, in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD), with the EU GDPR where it applies to visitors from the EU, and with international best practices. This policy describes what we collect on this marketing site, why, and what rights you have.
1. Data controller
The controller of personal data collected via carebond.ch is CareBond, based in Geneva, Switzerland. For any question about your data, write to us at info@carebond.ch.
2. Data collected
We collect only the data you voluntarily provide via the contact form: full name, professional email address, name of your institution, type of facility (care home, home care, hospital, clinic, other) and the content of your message. We do not collect advertising identifiers or browser fingerprints. The site contains no third-party tracking cookies.
3. Purposes
Your data is used exclusively to respond to your demo or information request, schedule a conversation, and where appropriate prepare a personalized quote. We do not use it for automated marketing or profiling.
4. Legal basis
Processing of your data is based on your explicit consent (voluntary form submission) and on our legitimate interest in responding to your business inquiry, in accordance with the nLPD and, where applicable, the GDPR.
5. Recipients and processors
Your data is accessible only to CareBond's internal team. We use two technical processors: (a) Vercel Inc. for site hosting (fra1 region, Frankfurt, EU); (b) Infomaniak (Geneva, Switzerland) for the mail server that delivers contact form messages to our inbox. No other third party receives your data.
6. International transfers
Vercel Inc. is a US-based company, and data passes through its infrastructure as part of the technical operation of the site and form. This transfer is governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the provider's compliance commitments; Vercel's primary hosting region for this site is in the European Union (Frankfurt). Messages sent through the contact form are delivered by our mail server at Infomaniak, in Switzerland, and do not leave the country.
7. Retention
Messages received via the contact form are kept in our mailbox for as long as needed to process your request, then archived or deleted according to our internal document management practices. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
8. Your rights
You have rights of access, rectification, deletion, portability, objection, and restriction of processing of your data. To exercise these rights, write to us at info@carebond.ch describing the nature of your request. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or with your local data protection authority (for example, the AEPD in Spain).
9. Security
The site uses TLS 1.3 to encrypt exchanges between your browser and our servers. Form data travels encrypted in transit at every hop: your device, the Vercel infrastructure and the final inbox.
10. Cookies and trackers
This site currently uses no audience measurement or marketing cookies. Only strictly necessary cookies (for example, language preference) may be set. See our cookie policy for details.
11. Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect technical, legal, or organizational changes. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page.
